I recently purchased the Xphirience “Super pack” for 55 Euros from http://www.xphirience.com/. I’ve used EEG equipment to test and prove the results. This product absolutely gets a 10 out of 10 without a doubt and does not compare to any other audio technology that I have ever sampled. It does exactly what it says on the tin and more.
Now I’m generally a skeptical scientific person, and I’ve had absolutely zero results with monaural beats, binaural beats, isochronic tones, light/sound machines and the host of other audio tracks available that are billed to change your brain activity by putting on a pair of headphones. I’m not sure what I thought would be different here, but was enticed with the concept of using the golden ratio, given that it is found extensively in nature.
I downloaded the kit and used the first MP3, Marcus Knudsen – Wonderful Life.mp3. Without even shutting my eyes or purposely doing anything, I noticed that I was starting to find it hard to concentrate, and was getting absorbed in things that I was gazing at. Very strange! I then realized that this just might be a seriously powerful set of tracks. Later, I sat down with my eyes shut and gave the track a proper go. I found that it took me to a relaxed, floaty and visual state within only a minute or two. Something that would have taken me 30 minutes of meditation on a good day, and nothing that I have ever achieved with other audio technology. I also did absolutely nothing to encourage it, other than sit back and relax.
I am the fortunate owner of Emotiv’s EPOC Research Edition headset, and this allows me to record my results as scientifically as possible. Here I attach five slides of the electrical activity of my brain during my session. This first slide was taken before the session started on a relaxed Sunday afternoon, active alpha activity, trace beta and theta activity:
The audio has now started. I’m using headphones and my eyes remain open. Already some slow wave delta is observed, less alpha than before, and increased theta activity. This explains the drowzy, floaty sensations:
Now I shut my eyes, huge increase in alpha, large theta increase, minimum delta increase:
It’s been a few minutes now, and I’m totally absorbed in it, heavy alpha and theta activity throughout:
And finally, I open my eyes and stop the music, and then take this snap a few seconds after, showing the same level of delta as before, dramatically less alpha, and the beginnings of a recover from wide scale theta overload!
I can’t recommend this product strongly enough. If the proof wasn’t enough, at the time of writing, Marcus offers a moneyback guarantee on the Xphirience site.
